I had a chance to speak with a few of the recipients and wanted to share their projects with you.

Mozartnerd's felted hat
First up is Mozartnerd! Not only did she decide to embrace the ways of felting, but she did it with her own handspun. Talk about overcoming your fears!! Her lovely felted hat protected her from the antler jinx in Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Treesh's second time's a charm yarn

Next we have Treesh whose use of the unbreakable vow has her re-exploring her less than pleasing finished objects. For charms she took yarn she had already spun and re-spun it. I think you'll agree that the result was quite lovely.
Pyai's marine biology gauntlets

Continuing our way down the list, we have Pyai and her gorgeously crocheted muggle studies gauntlets. These are quite reminiscent of sea life and marine biology.

Rondaletts Sonny Square

Rondaletts had a sad tale to share with us for Arithmancy. She recently lost her beloved Sonny after ten years and wanted to immortalize his memory. She produced a lovely blanket square featuring him that she says she will place at the heart of her Harry Potter blanket. Rondaletts went on to say that the Vanna’s Choice Tangerine Mist colorway is very much like his orange tiger stripes. She modified the Kitty Love Washcloth pattern to make him more bottom-heavy like her 19-pound Sonny was. What a nice way to pay tribute to a lost loved one.

Deafgeek's DADA hat

Last but not least is Deafgeek's counter for the antler jinx in Defense Against the Dark Arts. As it is his lovely story that won him the award, I leave it to you to read.

Keep up the great work Ravenclaws!! Let's do this for Luna.
