Common Room Recap January 10-13

This Week In The Ravenclaw Common Room:

• BrineyDeep started Haiku Monday (urged on by AbbyEBee)  in the Common Room, lots of people joined in! The Haiku, they were everywhere!
• Isisonearth handed out a whole whack of Stars of Isis.
• We had an interesting discussion on reading vs reading aloud.
• Which morphed into talking about the typing and texting habits of others, especially the young.
• Fish can be cooked in the dishwasher. Not a joke. But we are unclear as to why you would and EightLeggyMeggy says “Just Say No”! Course then she started the whole cooking pasta in the washing machine discussion.
• There is a great deal of Chroma lust....errrr love in the Tower.
• New Quidditch Robes have been passed out, please be sure and wear them on the 15th of every month and post a cheer in the Quidditch thread on the main board for POINTS!
• We discussed mattress turning and flipping.
• Kitchen sponges have more germs than toilet seats, but if you wet the sponge and microwave it for 1-2 minutes you’ll kill the germs.
• And Ravenclawprefect got a Star of Isis
• We discussed the possibility of a 13th Astrological sign.
• Rambunctiousky got a job! Congrats!
