Common Room Recap January 7-9

This Weekend In The Ravenclaw Common Room:

• We discussed how lace knitting talks to us...in detail! Sometimes in maths.
• AbbyEBee, another Firstie, was awarded a Star of Isis. What a wonderful group of Firsties we have!
• We learned about Gazebogals first date with The Sweetie.
• A spate of spinning broke out Saturday, followed naturally enough by fiber pr0n, ohhhh the pretties!  :)
• We’ve had several NQFYs visit the Common Room lately, but Rondaletts asked a question that sparked many great responses.
• Greenegirl shared her sister’s story, “It Gets Amazing”
• We discussed the merits of erlenmeyer flasks and lab bench material as kitchen updates.
• SMONK our Quidditch Coach announced that voting for Quidditch robes is now open. Go vote! Everyone gets to wear them on the 15th of every month for POINTS!
• We discussed the relative merits of Pathfinder, D&D2 thru 4E and homegrown systems.
• The Ravenclaw OWL Examiner SuperM came to visit and got the link to our BookList.
• We reminded Oliveknits and Soprano1 that we love all of our Claw sibs period. This is totally unrelated to how many classes and/or OWLs they/we may turn in!
