Weekly Showcase Wednesday: Finishing off February!

We are a week into March (already), so it's time to honor the rest of the awesome projects turned in to February classes and the most recent round of Quidditch!











I am always impressed by Ravenclaw crafting, and this week is no exception.  These are the projects that caught my eye and thus have earned the Golden Pickle Award!

Hypercycloid did a lot of incredible weaving last month, including two scarves for Charms and another for Quidditch:



TwistedSticherFGE knit a cheerful hat (I love the use of color!) for Charms and spun a gorgeous skein of teal yarn for Quidditch:



MissJaneJetson knit a fabulous color block shawl for Charms:



3trees made an cute felted snowman for DADA:



caranam painted two marvelous paintings, one for DADA and another for Divination:



FeoragRuadh sewed a charming dress for DADA:



bigsnakes knit an adorable tiktaalik (this is an extinct fishapod from the Devonian Period, in case you were wondering) for DADA:



softnshiny spun a dazzling skein of yarn for DADA:



Topfrog knit an exquisite lace caplet for DADA:



Chrissyteenychan sewed a delightful needle case for DADA and knit a lovely lacy shawl for Quidditch:



WillowGlade wove several pretty hand towels for DADA and Outdoor Survival:



LateClematis made a very cool decoupaged (with yarn ball bands!) bust for DADA:



Alfiriel knit an adorable owl for Divination:



MeshaMarie knit a fantastic pair of colorwork socks for Flying:



winemakerssister spun two stunning skeins of yarn, one for Herbology and one for Transfiguration:



frithuswith made an awesome woven laptop cover for Outdoor Survival:



neetsey knit a delicate lace and cabled shawl for Transfiguration:



Momtoaaandm knit a fabulous shawl for Transfiguration and crocheted a wonderful horse for Quidditch:



morningwynd spun a magnificent skein of yarn for Quidditch:



greenheron crocheted a lovely dreamcatcher for Quidditch:



Sumiregusa knit a gorgeous lacy shawl for Quidditch:















Once again, we had a few 'Claws who really went a little overboard.  They successfully outran the Mallet of Sanity to earn the Pickle of Sanity Badge!

dontpokeme311 crocheted a blanket using an amazing 1100 yards for DADA!



neetsey crocheted a cape using an incredible 1184 yards for DADA!



cn32 once again astounded with an unbelievable 2100 yards of baskets for Outdoor Survival, 2300 yards of blanket for DADA, and 4065 yards of blanket for Ancient Runes!!
















This week, we also have this term's first winner of the Electric Pickle Badge, which is awarded for experimentation and science!

cre8vladyb hand-dyed a skein of yarn, cleverly using frozen dye and SNOW!
