For the past two weeks in the Lab, we've done Kool-Aid dying with both solids and self striping yarns. This week we're mixing the flavors to create totally new colors!
This website is a great resource for color mixing, and provides samples and instructions for 135 colors of dye! TriGirlJ also posted a very interesting chart showing the difference between starting with white yarn and a natural grey yarn:
How cool is that? It's amazing what different starting yarns do to the final result. So don your lab coat and goggles, pick up a package or two of Kool-Aid, and head on over to
the Lab!
