Hello everybody! With the start of a new term comes a lot of flurry and excitement, so I'm going to be here every Sunday to keep y'all posted on the labwork and Convocation.
The Lab has just been reopened for the fall term, and there's a new Science Saturday posted there. This week, it's Kool-Aid dyeing! TriGirlJ posted a link to a Knitty tutorial with really specific steps that looks super helpful. Maybe it'll give me the push I need to learn! Additionally, Kool-Aid dyeing would fit really well with DADA, Potions (of course), Flying, or Herbology if you're class-minded this month.
Convocation is starting back up again! Sign-ups are here. For those who don't know, Convocation is a Claw-centric game that involves self-reporting to the Convocation mistresses on your point totals. Depending upon how many points you reach, you unlock a segment
of story (called a Milestone) and a badge and get new puzzles to solve
or stories to tell. The FAQ is here, and it sounds really exciting!
