July Challenge

*Loud banging and tinkering can be heard from inside the lab early in the morning on July 1st. Amidst the sounds of thing being dropped and hammered comes a pleasant whistling. Silverwing26 walks out of the lab donning her lab coat and a pair of safety goggles. She has some rolled parchment under one arm. Still whistling her merry tune she heads up to her dorm, and then a moment later heads back down, her wand tucked behind her ear, and into the lab.*

:Terrence hops after his person, and catches the lab door with one webby foot and sneaks in:

*Moments later there is a loud crash, a deep boom and magical sparks shoot from the open lab door! Oh no! Terrence did not know the importance of keeping the lab door shut! Blue and green smoke fills the common room and for some reason all of the furniture is now playing a gentle tinkling sound. Students are awoken from their beds by the rocking form the boom, and the oddly perfumed smoke.*

*Coughing, Silvering26 emerges from the lab*

Cough cough... well... that... didn't... cough... work!...cough cough...

*She pauses to catch her breath*

Uh oh....

*Her eyes fall on the terrarium the Claws have spent the last three months filling with rain, plants, and bugs. A huge crack appeared in the side and a chunk of glass has fallen on the floor! The crittery Crawlies from inside escape into the tower!*

Claws April Showers bring May flowers, May flowers bring June bugs, and June bugs bring BUG SPRAY!

The July Challenge is to craft Bugspray, or insect an insect repelling device of your choosing. Get creative! The Rules...

1. It must be started and finished this month
2. Spin, knit, crochet are the standard options, just ask if you have something else in mind
3. These submissions absolutely CAN be submitted for classes, or other forums as you see fit.
4. No Stress! These challenges are just for fun and give us reasons to award prizes!
