Interhouse Activities: September Wrap-Up And More

Hello, hello! The end of September left us with 62 students having participated in the September Sea Beasties Craft-A-Long. What a great turnout! Several sea beastie themed projects have already been featured on this blog between quidditch and classwork showcases. There is yet another project that deserves to be highlighted for everyone to ooooo and ahhhh over and that project would be part of Greenheron's NEWT. Check out all the sea beasties goodness:

Keep an eye on the Common Room thread for a post by Ali123 announcing the prize winners. Keep the other eye on the Announcement Thread as we wait for the October Craft-A-Long theme to be revealed.

In addition to all of these Ravenclaw activities, a couple students from other houses have found their way into The Tower Common Room to invite Claws to participate in their craft-a-longs. More specifically, there is a Halloween KAL/CAL in the Firstie Lounge and an Ood A-Long led by The Weasley Sisters.

So once again, congrats to all students who participated in the September Sea Beastie Craft-A-Long. It's been fun looking at all the sea beasties you've created.

Order of the Phoenix Debriefing

Hello, Ravenclaws! Today, I'm here to debrief you about operations over at #12 Grimmauld Place.

A total of 317 operatives from all houses signed up, but Ravenclaw had the most by far with a total of 107 B.R.O.O.Ms. Soar Ravenclaw! Let's take a look at what all these fearless Ravenclaws signed up for:

Though there was Ravenclaw participation in every mission, Undercover Abroad was definitely the most popular. This was likely due to the fact that this term, Ravenclaws were invited to study at the FitzRoy-Bjerknes Meteorological Academy. Someone, potentially Dark Wizards, has been changing the weather patterns (known to Muggles as Global Warming), and it is up to Ravenclaw House to find out why. Watch this space for further details, and there's more to come on our other Advanced Studies offerings (we haven't forgotten you, NEWT takers!).
