Featured Projects - A Look Back at January

January was a spectacular month for Ravenclaw! Here are some amazing projects to highlight the month for us.

Dawntreader7 made this amazing escargot hat - but be careful! I would think that placing a slimy creature on your head only advances your placement in some social circles. Luckily for her it's appreciated here in the Tower, especially the Lab. Interested in learning more about how you too can wear marine life forms on your head? Check out her Muggle Studies homework, or her project page.

Treesh turned in this gem for Arithomancy class. It's 41 yrds of 3 ply handspun with her own Claws - in natural white, natural grey, and natural brown. This isn't her first handspun my friends. No, she's got an OWL under her belt in divination hand spinning her own lace. But having talons of course makes this much more difficult than if she had fingers. I wonder if we could get someone in the infirmary to help her with that.....

Another awesome project turned in last month was CarinCoralie's sweater she made for Defense Against the Dark Arts, specifically recreation of a sweater Mrs. Moody wore to avoid being jinxed by cereal packets in her backyard. Apparently some of these patterns on it are persimmon stains. You'll just have to check out her homework or project page to figure out how she did it. I expect her hands were a bit stained after the entire affair.

It's only the 4th day of February and already there are some amazing projects out there. Maybe yours will be featured next?
